Automower® 550H EPOS®

• Husqvarna EPOS® wire-free Technology: Virtual, wire-free operation through satellite based RTK-GNSS technology, enables an accuracy down to approximately 2cm. The absence of physical wires implies a new level of robustness and flexibility, permitting regular deep aeration and turf repair without jeopardizing the function of the robot installation.
• Selectable mowing pattern: Improve the visual impression of the turf by changing the mowing pattern. With EPOS® technology, the mower can run in parallel lines and create a variety of patterns, such as diamonds, triangles and checkerboard.
• Warning lights: Warning lights with pulsating or solid light to create awareness during operation at night. Reduces the risk of accidents in public work environments.
• Husqvarna Fleet Services™: Husqvarna Fleet Services™ gives you full control of the mower with the possibility to monitor, control and analyze your entire fleet of products from your smartphone, tablet or laptop. You can overview the status and exact location, command them to start/stop or group-command them to park at storm warnings or in case of thunder. Settings and cutting heights are adjusted easily. Receive alarms and track the mower’s position in case of theft – from everywhere. Support required from Automower Connect during installation and when editing of EPOS boundary wire free installations.
• Pro user interface: Interface adapted for professional handling, meaning all settings and controls managed remotely through Husqvarna Fleet Services smartphone app or via PC/tablet. Controls on product; status LED indication and START / STOP functionality. Simplifies use for inexperienced users and minimizes serious impact on the product in case of vandalism.
• Customized work areas: The fully connected product provides an opportunity to individually customize each work area with a unique time schedule, cutting height and cutting pattern. Provides tailored care for a site with multiple scattered areas.
• EPOS® guidance: Automatically calculates the most efficient route to and from the charging station’s docking point. It will vary its route on the lawn to avoid unpleasant tracks.
• Maintenance point: Designate and mark a machine maintenance parking spot on the map. On command, the product parks there automatically while waiting for service, cleaning, loading or storage.
• appDrive - operate by remote: Seize the opportunity to operate the product using a remote control via the appDrive feature on your smartphone. The handling is easy and user-friendly, sparing you from strenuous, unnecessary lifting when the product needs to be moved between workspaces, to the service facility, or during installation.
• Electric height adjustment - PATENTED: Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. The setting is also accessible from the mower’s main menu.
• Weather timer: Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s growth rate, meaning that Husqvarna Automower® will maximize its mowing time during periods of strong grass growth. In sunny or dry weather, or late in the season, the mower will spend less time mowing, which decreases wear on lawn and mower. This feature is not active if the mower is set to pattern mowing.
• Manages slopes up to 45%: Large coarse-tread wheels provide excellent traction even if the surface is slippery. The mower handles slopes up to 45%.
• FOTA – Firmware Over-The-Air: FOTA – a technology that enables the operators to perform upgrades of the firmware, via the Fleet Services app. The downloading is done remotely, without the need of physical intervention into the product, and enables new features and updates.
• Unique Cutting System: Automower® is equipped with 3 razor-like blades made of carbon steel mounted on a robust cutting disc system. Automower® cuts a little grass at a time, but frequently. The tiny clippings are recycled into the turf as a natural fertilizer resulting in a healthier looking lawn.
• Balance control: Automatically detects and notifies if imbalance in the cutting system occur to ensure trouble-free and silent operation. Imbalance could be caused by missing, double mounted or damaged blades.
• Built-in Theft Protection: To reduce risk of theft, an alarm sounds if the mower is lifted and can only be deactivated with your unique PIN code. Additionally, GPS enabled tracking allows you to view your mower's location at all times.
• Scheduling: With the easily programmable weekly timer function, it is possible to precisely schedule time intervals for Automower® to work.
• Safety & Collision Sensors: Automower® is designed with safety in mind. The central placement of the cutting disc provides wide space between the blades and the outer body of the mower. Additionally, the blades instantly stop and retract inward as soon as the mower is lifted, or an object is detected thanks to built-in collision sensors.
• Weatherproof design: Husqvarna's robotic products are built with 30 years of experience in harsh weather types, such as the Nordic climate. They are designed to operate 24/7 throughout the grass growing season, with normal maintenance and cleaning. The unique cutting system, with free-hanging razor blades on a cutting disc, ensures the cutting result even in rainy conditions.
